I never thoght of going with a tablet! That couIld work for now. I wold only eqwse it for Chaz, internet, facebook, yoIOTUYtIObe, and aybe soe checking of bank balances, etc. I dont need anything fancy for now. Eventally I want another acbook.

ETA Is chrocxzebook not a tablet?

I had a little mini notebook/laptop type thing from walmart that lasted me like two years and was cheap! I would imagine it would especially well as a temporary solution.

The chromebook is a notebook with an attached keyboard and everything, but it is a really basic machine; you can't load a bunch of programs. I have the samsung, and I've had it about a year, and it's been great. I just use it for internet and note-taking.

Chromebook is Google's little netbook thing. I think they are great, I'm considering one for my next laptop... my old laptop I needed as a school machine but now I just need something I can take to trials with me to check my e-mail and Facebook and junk. The PC is my real workhorse and always will be, I very very rarely do "work" when I'm on my laptop.

There are also really cheap laptops out there but personally I feel like a Chromebook is a better buy than the cheapo laptops...

when my previous computer crashed, my MIL gave me her old tablet. It's great for what you're looking to do (general web surfing, FB, youtube, email, etc). I didn't really like it for Chaz and I'm not a big fan of FB mobile, but it worked out really well until I got something else.

Since I'm particularly hard on gadgets, I'm a big fan of buying refurbs off of Amazon Warehouse.

No it seems like it is a hard drive isse. It is doing more weird stff than qst the keyboard. I ay try to see if a new keyboard wold work first bt I a pretty seqrwe it is something else. Its also closing things randoly and doing all sorts of fIOTUYn stff.

That's basically the fatal flaw in a tablet. I just couldn't do the photo editing I need on it

I dont know reall. It depends on what the vet says abot S|_| |V| |V| ER toorrow and what we are going to do to treat her (or not). Cheaper the better at this point. Bt any sIOTUYggestion welcoe. Ive st had a lot of qwnforseen expenses lately and I cant change y bank accont too IOch becase of the hose bying process.

When I was in a bad bind and I needed a laptop ASAP for school, I got a cheap little acer for school from Walmart. It did everything I wanted and lasted a lot longer than I thought! it was a lifesaver

I can read every word (not sure I can call some of those words?) you are typing, which is really weird lol.

You can get a really cheap laptop for around $ 300 brand new from most stores it's not going to have much RAM or hard drive space but it will work for Photoshop elements and such.
