Hey all. Little red dog heads to the vet tomorrow afternoon to try to figure out what is going on with the intermittent lameness we've been facing. Any extra good thoughts you have will be greatly appreciated. We are really hoping it is an easy fix, but if it is not we will proceed down whatever path is necessary to get her better. :)

Appreciate it.

A Squishy picture for your troubles.

Poor girl! We are sending major vibes your way. I hope she gets better soon and that it's nothing serious!

Thanks for all of the good thoughts guys!

Just got home. Shoulder was out as well as parts of her back. Doc thinks probably shoulder or elbow sprain. On some supplements as well as another couple adjustments over the next month. Leash walks only less than 1/2 mile. Not crate rest, but nothing crazy in the house or outside.

If still having issues once adjustments are finished up, X-rays and a new plan.

Well that seems promising. Soft tissue injuries can be a royal pain to heal but at least its got a good prognosis and isn't anything crazy.

Yep. She says it will still be a slow road, but she doesn't think muscle tear or anything extremely serious due to the fact that the limping is so hit or miss and fairly infrequent (a few times a month, typically). She also said that because I've basically been doing the same exercise standards she suggested that we are off to a good start. Hopefully by spring she will be good to go. :)
