Morning sickness is in full swing ugh. When I was pregnant with Lil I took zofran, but I'm pretty unwilling to do that again after hearing some of the effects and lawsuits around it. I'm only able to keep clear liquids and a few crackers down now though, and last time I was vomiting til 16 weeks, so I'm kinda worried about it.

As far as breastfeeding in public...never felt weird about doing it at the mall or waiting room or airport or library...felt super weird about doing it in front of family, probably because they freaked out every time I did. Gonna have to try harder to stand up to them this time around :( I honestly think that sort of effected my ability to feed, too. By the time I was able to get myself and the baby and water and whatever into a bedroom or whatnot (or cover with a blanket with my mother hovering over me trying to "block" anyone from seeing my cleavage), Lillian was probably way frustrated about being hungry and difficult to latch. She didn't want to eat under a blanket in July and I don't blame Her. Gonna tell them all next time if they don't like me breastfeeding in public they don't need to hang out with me
My aunt always told our few family members that were bothered by it that she didn't mind if they went into the other room, lol. It was a polite way of saying "I'm feeding my baby. Leave if you don't like it. But I'm doing it right here."

Lol babies are fun but kids are hilarious! And smart lol.

Tonight, Hannah realized I had my period. We've talked about it many times so she understands it and what it is. Tonight she says "awwww. I know this has to happen when an egg is empty but HOPEFULLY one day the egg will have a baby inside and I'll have a sister!!!" Lol

My kids just ask why I'm pooping red. I think I traumatized Lisa when I explained to her what it is.

I stopped bc in January due to really bad side effects (hair loss, and burning mouth syndrome to name a few). I had been dealing with it for a while but had finally had enough. Thought I was preggo this month...for the first time in my adult life, I was actually disappointed the test was negative (it was 8 days late). I played it down to hubby because we've only been married 6 mos. We still have grown up kid free stuff we want to do. But I feel my clock ticking...it is driving me nuts. Addie is a good substitute lol.

Does anyone else get really, really sick when they're pregnant?

Aside from the violent morning sickness (throwing up multiple times a day, only able to keep clear fluids and maybe a few crackers or toast down, constant nausea), I also have heart palpitations, jumping/blurred vision, fainting spells, near-constant vertigo, and headaches. Plus constant shaking/hot flashes/chills.

I was this sick with Lillian, but I think it didn't seem so bad because I didn't have to take care of a toddler and my job wasn't too difficult at the time, and I dropped out of school. I feel so overwhelmed from how sick I am right now. I really probably need to go to the ER for an IV, but I'm trying to hold out until tomorrow when it will be more convenient for me to arrange childcare. I'm so behind on laundry it's not even funny, my floors desperately need to be vacuumed at the very least, and I'm struggling to even walk into my kitchen to heat up fish sticks and frozen veggies for my daughter. I skipped class on friday and haven't opened a book in like 5 days.

With Lillian I was this sick for 4-5 months. I'm not even 8 weeks with this one. I'm honestly terrified by my inability to take care of my life right now.

Sorry the depressing rant. I'm hoping maybe someone who's been through the same can offer some advice.

I did with both girls in the first trimester. I puked constantly and couldn't even keep Zofran down. I list more weight in both of my pregnancies than I gained.

I came in here expecting gross boob pictures so I could say hateful things to you all. I've been thwarted. Someone on here told me that's all this thread was.

Can someone please tell my baby to stop growing so rapidly?! He's 9 weeks old today!

So cute!

And I like how you put the carrier in the basket and not on the top part of the cart. I'm honestly surprised that so many people put the carrier on the top part... I tried once (two car seats... doesn't fit in the basket, lol), and quickly figured out that it's way too dangerous because it's way too easy to tip the carrier over, as it doesn't latch... Although maybe some seats do fit properly there, but mine sure didn't!

I was exhausted and very nauseous my first trimester...but not puking. Well, I fought puking until I got lightheaded and woozy LOL Not brilliant. I hope you feel better soon MM! I got vertigo pretty bad the start of the second trimester and I have heart palpitations all the time...

Yeah, mine doesn't latch, and I read as well that you're not supposed to even if they do. So he only gets to come on little trips and has to sit in the cart jail. It also seems to deter people to put their grubby hands on my child. Grrrrr. I do not tolerate strangers touching him.

25 weeks already?! You look really good!! Is baby kicking a lot?

If I have to leave her in the car seat, it goes in the basket, never on the top! Generally, however, I wear her. That way anyone who tries to touch has to get close to me to get closer enough to touch her.

Thanks! :) I am very insecure about how much weight I've gained. I really want to stay slow and steady and I don't know if I'm gaining too much too fast or not. Silly I know...but I struggle with my weight and overeating things that are bad for me so I'm trying to be more aware. Yes! The baby kicks alllll the time! Now it's hard enough that I can see my stomach tremble a little here and there :)

This is what I'm hoping to do - wear! I don't like people getting up close to me, so hopefully that vibe keeps them off my baby.

It wasn't an option to wear for me anyway but the whole point of those carriers was not to have to take them out when we get out of the car. Putting them in a carrier would have completely defeated the purpose, lol.
