Beautiful British Columbia!!
Thanks guys,

I have a pretty consistent period when I am off BC so I am not too worried about it. I think my plan is to go off three months before the wedding aka TTC.

I think we might try after the honeymoon. So I can still have a few drinks here and there. Not that I'm a big drinker, but it's nice to have one with dinner once in a while.

LOL We went to a winery over Christmas and I made sure I drank some from each of the 3 bottles I loved during the tasting we did before we started TTC. DH thought I was pretty hilarious, but I wasn't going to buy them and then wait forever to drink them!

I am not sure what to ask specifically regarding birth control... you could ask if your doc would do a cycle day 3 test for you. Here's info (from one of the best fertility clinics in the US) regarding all that and the benefits of such testing if you are concerned or just want a really good picture of your reproductive health:

http://www.shadygrovefertility.com/newsletter/what-day-3-testing

But I am not sure if that's something your regular doc would do. I think most doctors will want you to try to conceive naturally for a year before referring you to a specialist.

I still can't believe I have a little baby here. We had a rough night, so there was lots of snuggling going on today. Lots and lots of squishy baby faces.

I love Ivy!! I can't believe she's over 9 lbs already!! Finn's been gaining weight, but he's still a little under 8 lbs.

Ivy and Finn are so cute! Are there any more Chaz babies due?

Nora had her 6 month pediatrician visit today. She weighs 14lbs 4oz and is 24.5" long! I wish I could slow down time.

She has 5 teeth!

We're still breast feeding and we started solid foods 5 days ago! 4 days of banana, and we started avocado today. She loves eating food!

So i went to my dr. Today to talk about conception. And she told me that the cycle right after getting off birth control has a higher change of conceiving then the cycles after wards. It Kinnda gives your overies a jump start.

Never heard that one before. Also found out she delivers babies.

Yep! I mentioned that a couple posts back- or at least bc regulates your cycle. I do know multiple pcos sufferers who have come off it and gotten pregnant first cycle so I never saw point of going off a couple months.

I know another batch of people that are pregnant again. The itch is there! And my little Case is one tommorow!

Happy birthday, Case!!!

They told us to give it six months after my paragard came out before we worried about getting pregnant... I never even got my next period. >.< I can definitely see birth control being used to help you get pregnant.
Also, five weeks old...

The bright red birth marks that were all over her face are starting to fade!

Apparently you're super fertile straight after stopping it. Friend of mine took her last pill on her wedding day and was pregnant within about 2 weeks!!! Proper honeymoon baby.

Look at all the hair zephyr has! Ivy has ginger hair! I hope she keeps it, but I don't think she will as I don't think we have any gingers in our families. That I know of any way.... But my grandad was Scottish, so you never know what genes are back there.

Just took the plunge of booking a trip with a baby!

We initially wanted to do Alaska or Iceland but decided to do something a bit easier for our first "longer than a weekend car trip" with Nora. We're going to fly into Salt Lake City, and go to Arches National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Tetons National Park. It's a trip we've always wanted to do, but we wanted to save it for after we had kids since it's in the US and a pretty quick flight.

It's not until May, which means Nora will be 10 months old by that time. The flights are nonstop and we broke up the driving (our longest day has a 6 hour drive) so I'm hoping it will work out well.

Of course, you never can "plan" with babies but we never stick to strict schedules for ourselves anyway.

SO excited! Ahhh!

You'll be absolutely fine!! Babies are so portable. My nephew was flying back and forth between China and the UK soon after he was born! I'm applying for Ivy's passport soon as I plan to take her to France in the summer :) should be fun!

She was weighed yesterday and is a healthy 10lb 9.5oz and on the 91st percentile!! Little pudding!

I don't know why tinypic uploads things sideways sometimes....

Look at her cheeks. I just want to pinch them. She is an adorable little pudding pop.

Babies are SUPER portable and I wish I traveled more before Lillian needed her own airplane seat :( the worst part about traveling with a little baby is accepting the fact you're too tired to stay out til 2am anymore.

How are all the new little ones doing?

Lillian is having one hell of a time giving up her paci. She was basically off it except for sleep/car rides from around 6 months old...but now she's asking for it 750 times a day!

For now, we're just trying to say stuff like "oh, we'll get it at naptime" and "I can't find it" and "we left it in the car" and distracting her so I REALLY hope this ends soon.

Tell her it's gone and not coming back. She will
Probably be upset but she'll get over it. Tellig her it's somewhere and you'll get it later gives her hope that she'll get it back.

Those are what we plan on doing later....she's not even 2 right now so I feel like she's a little young to be asked to sleep without it or get through really stressful situations (doctors appointments, boo boos, etc) without it. But I only want her to have it when she's sleeping (for the most part)
