first a couple of pictures of us together , i just picked him up earlier today and hes settling in very well. hes very friendly and loving. hes asleep on my lap now as I type and I just feel like he just belongs there. I couldnt be more in love with this little guy

well long story short. its pretty complicated but spark notes version.. he needed a home and I inquired, me and his breeder got to talking and.. here he is lol everything happens for a reason and im so glad that this crooked path led me to this lil fella

hes a long coated chihuahua, hes about 1 1/2 years old

I like Romeo but it's easier for the dog to have a shortened name (or so I've read). The only nickname I can think of is "Romey" which is what I usually end up calling my dog.

it was this little adult that needed a home, or the pap puppy. I took a while to think about it and it was a tough decision but in the end.. I decided this little guy felt right and was the best option for me lol no worries tho, phantom (the pap puppy) had a couple of other people waiting for him, so he also found himself a great home

That must be common with chihuahuas.... Luna's sleeping on my lap right now too. I've had other dogs sleep in my lap (always bigger, of course), and none of them feel like they belong the way Luna does.


Congrats on your new dog! That's the perfect age to get one, IMO, no puppy-ness OR much of an adolescence, and MANY years to go. Good luck with him!
