My father has never had a strong liking for pets,
not really a disliking either, more like they are
an annoyance who can pee on the floor :lol-sign:

Its been difficult because we live about 6 hours away
and when we come visit its for at least 3-6 days.
We then have to figure out what to do with Charlie
since he was not allowed in my parents house!

He is finally not only allowed in the house but
also aloud to roam around. My father is happy he
sleeps in his crate though (the only time he was
a bad dog the whole time though, he whined,
but not loud enough that my parents could
hear in the other room)

Anyway enough with the storey here are some
pics from when we went there before halloween
(I will get one eventually of charlie beside my dad!)

My dad is the same way. He likes animals... but not to be an owner of one (does that make sense?). It's funny.. cuz the other animals he really likes are mine. My two little dogs and my cat Alice. And Alice loooves him.

Dogs like him too... well Stryder is iffy because he has this fear of men thing going on.. but Kiba will stop running in agility if she sees him and goes and hangs out ringside and turns into Ms. Wiggle Butt and all happy to see him.

They just don't want to let themselves love a pet really, soft hearted
deep inside :)

My father actually got two cats from my grandmother in order
to impress my moms family, one of them live till 16 and the
other 19. I know it was hard on him loosing them.

He is also very paranoid about charlie peeing on his hard
wood floor and fleas.
We had huge issues with fleas with the cats because the flea
stuff we used in those days we so toxic one of our cats
became allergic and we could not use any flea products on
him anymore.
