I kept thinking about jethro on the beverly hillbillies when he calls the pool a cement pond...lol This really was a cement pond we went to today, it was really cool. Someone literally made this HUGE swimming area where a natural spring feeds into it. The whole thing has a cement bottom.... no dirt, mud or anything. They had a high diving board and a low one. Alexis loved jumping off the low one.

I wished I had thought to bring the camera to get some shots of this place. I've never seen anything like it. They had nice picnic areas around it with picnic tables and grills. They even had music playing. I'd definately go back there again, it was fun :)

That's pretty different. Was it sloped and how deep?
it was sloped for part of it then it dropped off. The deepest part was 9.5 feet. The water was frigid cold...lol Once we got it, we finally got used to it. I'll have to get pictures of it the next time we go. They charged 5 bucks a piece, but the kids were free.

That sounds like a blast (although I'm a sinker - wouldn't venture into the 9 ft) and super cheap. It's great when you come across novel things to have a good time. Yes, pictures a must next time.
