I was in town today and had to stop at the Home Depot to return some stuff with my mom. I had Dakota with me and while I was waiting for the friggin new guy to figure out how to give me credit for a copper pipe I was returning, someone came up behind me and started talking to him. I turned around and I SWORE I was looking at Luke Wilson. :lol-sign: Then I noticed he was wearing an empoloyee's apron and had a nametag that said Tyler.

Then, later I grabbed a drink and started walking to the video store - the weirdest things always happen to me at this video store. It's cursed or something. Most of my weird "about-town" memories have something to do with this Blockbuster. But I digress.

Anyway, I got slammed into by a guy on my way there. Neither of us were really looking at where we were going, and he just happened to be huge. At least 6" taller than me, and I'm 5'10. Anyway, I dropped my drink and lost my grip on Dakota's leash, and panicked. Before I could think about it, the words "watch it, a$$hole!" slipped out of my mouth. I looked up and realize that this guy is a DEAD RINGER for Vince Vaughn. EXACT same face, same eyes, same smile, same voice even. He apologized about 50 times and offered to buy me another drink, even apologized to Dakota. :lol-sign: I of course was stupid and declined (didn't think about it really, my drink was almost gone anyway) he spent about another minute petting Dakota, apologized again and left, all before I had the chance to realize who he looked like.

I actually wonder if that really was him. Hrm.

Anyway, what celeb lookalikes (or real ones) have you run into?

I used to work with a girl that looked EXACTLY like Jessica Beal. (7th heaven, Texas Chainsaw Massacre)

The only difference was that she wore glasses, but even with them on she was a dead ringer. Same body and everything. We were waitresess, she always got really good tips...

I wanted to hate her, but she was too nice. Darn it. :lol-sign:

Those are some dang hot look alikes! My favorite ex was a dead ringer for Jeremy Lelliot I actually thought he was him when I first met him.

I then made friends with a guy at a concert who I had actually flipped out at when we met.......Cause I thought he was Ryan Gosling........Best part is his name was Ryan.

My fiancee played hockey with a guy who looked exactly like Ryan Reynolds. Other than that, I can't think of anyone else.

I thought of someone.. she's a famous Irish Dancer and my favorite ID Dancer.

Her name is Jean Butler. I used to know a girl that resembled her A LOT!!

She.. the girl.. not Jean.. had her head so far up her a$$.. thought she was better then everyone else. During competition one year, she was dancing and fell on stage.. I laughed so loud and so hard.. Yes Yes how mean am I .. right :D

Jean B.. for those who don't know who she is :)

A long time ago while I was at a small mom and pop grocery store, I almost pooped my pants when I saw Sylvester Stallone standing right there in front of me! This guy was a dead ringer.
When I went to a Brittney Spears concert with my daughter a few years back, the guy sitting next to me looked exactly like Danny Bonaduce. We talked a lot during the concert and I told him that he looked like Danny, and he acted like he couldn't pronounce the last name right...but it seemed so "fake". To this day, I do believe it was him.
Then theres the Rod Stewart "wanna-be" who used to attend all of the concerts at a local venue. Looks a LOT like Rod but not foolin' anyone really...except maybe himself. :lol-sign:

BTW...most of you guys in here are so young...do any of you know who Danny Bonaduce is?

I can't remember the name right now because I should have been in bed an hour ago, but not too long ago I ran into this celeb look-a-like at a restaurant and I kept staring at him trying to figure out if he was "real" or not. I think I creeped him out, because he got a to-go box a lot faster than I would have expected.

There's that train wreck of a reality show, if anyone's too young to remember the 1970s. I know about him mostly because he did a short-lived radio show in Philly in the 1990s. Hideously ugly guy. I never see anyone famous or any lookalikes. I attribute this to my disinterest in celebs and my tendency not to look at people. I'm always getting elbowed by friends saying "Hey, isn't that..." and I'm clueless. I wouldn't recognize most celebrities anyway. The few well-known people I've seen in person have been politicians and athletes.

I used to go to school with a guy that was a dead ringer for Mario Lopez of Saved By The Bell fame. He was hispanic obviously and everyone called him Slater because of his looks. His real name was Juan.

Other than that Ive not seen many celeb look alikes although everyone says I look like the red headed girl from the Hidden Valley Ranch commercial of the girl sitting and eating a salad while the world around her changes from her kitchen to a family picnic.

Maybe I should start doing commercials for extra money.

I ran into a guy in NYC once who strongly reminded me of Matthew McConaughey.

And I used to play with hockey with a guy who looks like a twin from Jim from The Office.

I attended the same class in UCLA with Jaleel White who played Steve Urkel (the nerd on Family Matters). At first I thought he was a look-a-like, but when I saw the two bodyguards who went everywhere with him, I knew he was the real actor :)

I have a friend in Canada who is a dead ringer for Sen Richard Lugar. When in the states or overseas people always ask if he is .

Holy . . . This is insane, lol! I saw the same guy today in Phoenix. He recognized me  petted Dakota again and we talked about dogs for a few minutes. I didn't think to ask his name, stupid me. I turned around as soon as my mom showed up and he rather abruptly said goodbye. My mom said she got a good look at him while we were chatting (i actually didn't. I don't like to stare.) and thinks it is Vince. Yikes! I hope not lol

Just thought that was weird to see the same stranger twice in such a short time period, in a town 40 miles away.

Gawd if it is, I wish I'd have been more friendly the first time! I hope it isn't because I always swore I'd treat celebrities like normal people and I usually don't call people assholes within the first 2 seconds of contact with them, lol!

LMAO @ stalking. He's welcome to stalk me anytime . . . :D Whoever he is, this guy is attractive. And Dakota really likes him.
