Carpet Burn?

I think Mojo just gave himself carpet burn while playing fetch with me. He tends towards top speed running with skidding halts. This last round he skidded then dropped to the floor and started to lick his front paws gingerly. Now he won't stop licking...

Does anyone know if it's safe to run some salve or aloe vera on his paws?

Or should i just let him lick them?

I would think a little aloe wouldn't hurt, they put it in dog shampoos a lot, and it definitely gets licked

Aloe should do the trick! We always put it on during the winter time! After you put it on his paws, put sock over it so that he can't lick it off again... apperently Aloe is tasty
