Please if I have you on Facebook don't mention this there, I don't want a bunch of sympathy from people.... I'm comfortable sharing here because, frankly I don't have to see you guys IRL if that makes sense?
Had a bad day yesterday... had an awful spell at work, short of breath and dizzy, pain under the bottom of my ribcage, thought it was a panic attack but my boss insisted I check it out.. went to my Dr who sent me to Hospital.... its arrhythmia, there's a cardiac specialist here, he basically said its my lucky warning and that I should take a baby aspirin daily (there are prescription options but they're $$ and not proven to work any better) and also a prescription drug called Tambocor.. I have to quit smoking and loose weight (At least 75lbs!!)
I'm a tad freaked out but he said this is actually a good thing because in women especially its as common to go from arrhythmia to heart attack with no symptoms or warnings... He said this was like putting a gun to my head with 4 chambers and only two empty..... That I was seriously lucky I got a warning most women my age, weight and stress level who smoke aren't as lucky...
I'm majorly freaking out... I'm not even 40 yet!!!
I'm wondering if anyone's dealt with this?
