Wow.. I was going to PM her about her dogs, too.. God have mercy.. That is so terrible and horrid, no one deserves to die like that. I hope that man is punished for what he's done. I will be praying for her family.. *sigh* Sick world.

I've been thinking of her all day, of her dogs, of her kids and of her family.
What a sensless waste of life, what a tragedy.

Wow... this is just... I have no words.

I'm so sorry for her children and her family, I'm glad the dogs are safe. I hope her husband gets the full extent of the law thrown at him.

Terrible situation. *shakes head in disbelief*

Barbara has a large extended family who hopefully will not have any problems (court-wise) taking in her two boys (only one of whom is by John Tassinari). I am saddened by this devastating news; I had recently been exchanging e-chats with her w/regards to her Frenchie. She was a lovely person who successfully wrestled her personal demons and was a bright light that made the world a better place.

Her dogs will be taken care of; both breeders have been contacted (I'm not sure about her Frenchie but I'm sure he will find a place), I can only hope the kids receive all emotional support they need. What a blow.

To Babs/Ovcharkagirl/CAOgirl

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the infinite peace to you.

How horrible. There just are not words to describe.

I feel odd crying over someone I have only talked to online but I consider you all friends and hope the best for everyone. I'll be thinking of her family. I can't even imagine.

On another board my husband goes on, her sister said the dogs will all be staying together. The 10 year old is doing as well as can be expected.

From the posts she made it looked as if the boy really loved those dogs. I hope they help him get through this :(

^^^ agree ! I hope who ever has the boy considers his loss and what he needs . I know at that age , my kids probably would have missed their Goldens more than me !
