For me, I will spend the money for good progesterone testing that's sent out to a lab.

If I'm going to spend upwards of 1500/2000US for a stud fee, I don't mine a couple hundred to make CERTAIN she is ready to be bred before I travel or have semen shipped.

JMO as always.

I read that link as "Mattel.com" and was wondering why the makers of Barbie were marketing a ovulation tester... :rolleyes:

I really have nothing constructive to add...

I have heard good and bad reports on it, I was considering getting one myself, but I am still undecided.

Yes, good point, but wouldn't this (if works) be a quicker and cheaper alternative?

It depends. It might be quicker. It might NOT be cheaper unless it is proven to be as accurate as a good progesterone test to pinpoint the LH surge for a properly timed breeding.

I would be interested in more data on it as far as using it to time fresh chilled AIs and frozen semen implants.
