Yay.
And they have it available for cats as well, Felidae.

They are bringing it out with a huge sale.

Huge sale?!? I've been waiting for the chicken and rice formula to come out, maybe they'll have it at the store I shop at. I hope so. I'm happy now!

Hmmmmm sale. Interesting :D

On a side note, my cats refused to touch the felidae sample I got for them, so i will stick to innova for them...

Edit: Ok, I checked online, the 40lbs bag is now $3 cheaper. Well we just got a new one, so I guess we'll have to wait to see if it's still on sale in 3 weeks anyway, although I'm not sure the stores do the sale too?

Edit2 : Hmm I can't really see a big difference in the new formula. The only difference I see is that there is only chicken meal, without turkey, lamb and fish. And that the bags are not the same size. Am I missing something?

Yeah, I'll have to check that out, it may not be the same feeding guidelines and that is why they have bigger bags. Although Eagle Pack comes in the 6.6 lb bags and stuff. I'll have to call my petstore and see if they have it and it's on sale. If it's on sale I'm bringing back the bag I have now and getting the chicken meal one. There isn't a difference, in products, I don't think just as you said it only contains chicken meal. Some dogs do poorly on lamb meal and everything and they suggest a chicken and rice diet for lots of dogs (like Hannah because she gets sick from everything) but knock on wood she hasn't gotten sick from the regular formula. If it's at our petstore and on sale they are getting new food AND a new bone and toy. I can't wait to call I hope it is because we'll be going up to the store tomorrow.

Exactly, this is the reason Canidae came out with a single protein diet...for dogs that cannot tolerate Lamb.

I have a friend with a Dobe that cannot tolerate Lamb, she will be very interested in the chicken diet.

I think the sale starts on Jan 30/06 through to March. I don't know if all the stores which sell it will honor the sale price though...hmmm:confused:

Yeah I figured it was the reason for it. My dogs seem to do fine with the normal stuff anyway.
