I don't think the age of consent has anything to do with kids ending up preggo. A lack of education probably and probably just cuz they want to have sex.

I totally agree. There are soo many girls in my town that are under 16 and pregnant. Why? Because they don't know about birth control! The town should seriously pay me, when I see young girls on the street, I'll walk right up to them and say, "You guys are all on birth control right? If not it's easy to get and not too expensive, you'll still get STD's but at least you won't get pregnant!"

Is it really true that we Canadians have accents? Generally I don't think we sound that much different from Americans Of course I'm not talking about those with Newfoundland/maritimer accents, or Americans with thick southern drawls, etc.

And I hardly ever say eh, lol, and I don't say about or house funny. At least I don't think I do

Most Canadian's that I know have a slight accent. I have (she passed away) an Aunt Maude from Moose Jaw, Sask, and she definitely had an accent.

I want to go to Montreal so bad. How long can a US citizen come to Canada for travel? Is there a limit on how long they can stay?

Yes. Permanent resident.

You need to prove you have education and a job. I think. A german friend of mine did this to avoid losing his german citizenship.

Really? That is news to me. As per the last referundum, the majority of Quebecers voted to remain a part of Canada.

Of course there is a large minority of Quebecois that want to separate. But, this does not mean Quebec wants to secede.

For those who are complaining about a border crossing I notice you are all importing something. Horses, pets, or whatever the truck drivers are doing.

Well Duh it's going to be harder. They have to make sure you are comlying with import rules. Even the person with the horses you were techincly importing even tho you were just driving through. There is paper work that needs tobe properly filled out and yes we are worried about stuff being smugled in.

Oh yes, I remember that, the PQ leader complaining about being defeated because of minority and ethnic voters.

Obviously, the opinion of non-french speaking quebecers does not count. What do you plan on doing with them after quebec secedes?
