Can you guess Dodger's and Rita's breeds?

Dodger

Rita is the brown middle dog.

I know it sounds weird but I have always been curious about what the mixes of these two dogs were (if Rita is infact a mix... I'm not 100% sure). I rewatched the movie yesterday and it's been bugging me for a long while now. I understand they are cartoons but anyone care to take a whack at it?

Dodger is a Fox Terrier and I'd put Rita down as a Saluki Mix.

I'd say Dodger is a mutt. I think he's supposed to be since he's a 'street dog' kind of character.

And Rita always struck me as a saluki.

If you ever saw the movie I don't think you'd think he was a terrier, he's too big. I'd say he's just a mutt. Maybe shepherd but I really don't know.

He's the same size as the bulldog...and bulldogs aren't that tall? Of course in this pic he's also not that much bigger than the Chi so perhaps scale wasn't a major concern with a kids movie lol!

He does look too big now that I think about it. I was just curious of he had a dominating breed or if he was just so mixed no one could pin point what he might be.

I'm with you on the Fox Terrier, Gina. The other one reminds me more of an Afghan Hound than a Saluki. But who the heck can tell with cartoons? LOL
