On Saturday Rocky decided to jump off of my parents bed. Now, since he's getting older (he turned 13 in June) he usually just stands there and whines until someone takes him off of the bed but last weekend he decided to jump off all on his own. This led to him laying sprawled out on the bedroom floor.
He was limping badly after that so my parents took him to the vet (I wasn't home all weekend and was informed of the goings on from my sister through text message) and the vet took some xrays. The good thing is that nothing is broken, the bad thing is that the vet thinks he has a sprain in is right hind leg and he's been put on crate rest and a painkiller. Now needless to say, confined dog is NOT happy!
He's using his sprained leg a lot more today than he was originally but still favoring it. He's been acting very depressed about his lack of mobility so any vibes you could spare for a speedy recovery (and my sanity!) are much appreciated.
