I've often wondered that myself, actually. I don't see why they wouldn't, but I've yet to be able to find out.

How would you know? The dog feels crappy and grumpy . . you can tell that . . but is it a headache, a crampy tummy, or just a bad mood. Often, its impossible to tell . . .

I'm not sure how you'd know. My dogs don't ever really have grumpy days, but they do have days when they're a lot more laid back than usual and would prefer to sleep than to play, and there's no obvious reason for it.

I'm sure dogs have their aches and pains just as we do, but they're more stoic as a species than we are. My dogs have done some things that had to be wicked painful, but they just kept on going like it was no big deal. I would've stopped what I was doing to scream.

So considering my dogs' tolerance for pain, if there's a day when they're visibly not feeling well, I give them as long as they need to rest and keep a watchful eye on them.

This is something I've asked my vet a few yrs ago and she said most headaches are caused by some malfunction in the brain, like a tumor or something else. But dogs don't get plain everyday headaches like we do.

A lot of headaches people get are caused by things we eat/drink. lack of sleep/too much sleep. Stress etc so I'd guess your avarage well cared for dog doesn't get many.

The reason I asked, was cuz I had an animal communicator "read" Kiba and she said she couldnt be bothered with playing, and that it causes her headaches. :D
