Sooo, the final decision is to fly into San Diego, spend 3 days there, make the drive to San Francisco, and then spend 6 days there. We're going to use 2 of the San Diego days to visit Sea World and the zoo. We still need to work on planning out some sort of schedule for San Fran. I've been too tired after work to even want to think about any of this. -_-

I wouldn't worry too much about planning SF. It's a fairly small/compact city. Last time we were there we just bought tickets to one of the hop on/hop off buses and downloaded an iphone app that had the bus/BART schedules on it and figured out our way around once we got there. We found our way to fisherman's wharf, alcatraz, golden gate park, and china town that way (we only had 2 days there).

I don't know why people suggest Venice and Santa Monica beach, they are so ugly and the water is disgusting and brown lol. If you want a pretty beach with clear water and not a lot of people visit Laguna. There are shops everywhere and its not as crowded as Huntington, Venice and Santa Monica!

So true. I wouldn't go in the water here then again I never really go to the beach. Even though I live practically on it.

Adam has ADHD. If we don't formulate some sort of plan as to what we'd like to see, we'll end up seeing absolutely nothing. He doesn't have the focus to be spontaneous, lol.

So true. I wouldn't go in the water here then again I never really go to the beach. Even though I live practically on it.
