I didn't know who the mods were for quite a while. So can't say I'm a kiss @ss .a couple of them were people who's personality was catchy ! I like them. I do not think that they were out of line at all. I don't think Casa will be missed . Have you guys viewed her profile ? that should give you some insight.

because this is the internet common courtesies do not apply.
If there was something innapproriate or out of line with that PM it should have been forwarded to a Admin, and not posted publicly. An Admin is a step higher than a Mod sweatheart.
We can have it both ways, an we do because otherwise we would all be a bunch of sheeple bowwing to the mods, the admin, the super admin, and we would all be chattle to the Webmaster himself.

Decisions of what should or should not be done in the workings of this forum are not up for grabs. One can always start their own forum or, as Blue said, keep looking for another. But telling the owner how to run his own forum, what should or should not be done isn't anyone's business. This is a private ownership, not a co-op. If someone doesn't like this forum, they're not obliged to stay. 
This is OT and may seem like a silly question... but are there really that many fights on the forum? The mods seem to indicate that there is conflict day in and day out. But I don't notice more than a thread here and there where things get heated? I'm really just curious... because I don't see it. By and large, I think everyone seems to get along.

but Casa seems to be a very angry individual. I kinda feel sorry for her.... I can't imagine what it would be like to be angry all the time. I'm not sure I've ever seen one light hearted post from her.... very sad indeed.

I can tell you for sure that running a forum is a completely thankless job. It's not so much what you see on the face of the forum that's a pain in the butt; it's the crap people pull in things like PMs and emails. We come to this forum and just have a great time posting but we never think about all the work that goes into things offsides. Moderating a forum is nothing short of a pain in the patootie. But without those mods, things would go to hell in a handbasket very quickly.
As for this just being "the internet" the rules of the road apply same as in life. Sometimes people think that because they are "anonymous" that they can have bad taste, be rude or just generally slander and libel anyone they feel like crapping on that day. If your life sucks and you have no control, it's a kick to come to the net and take it out on innocent people. Well it's NOT acceptable and never will be. You are just as responsible for your behavior on the internet as you would be anywhere else. Plenty of people have learned that the hard way.
Anyways, as far as moderators go, I would swallow a broom before I would do this job and then come here and take sh!t from people who have the audacity whitewash their own parts of a story.

Ok I usually sit down and shut my mouth about everything here on the forum but I'm sick and tired of all the bullshit!

There are new members joining everyday that are going to change the forum. I have gotten tired of the forum and left and than came back because there are a lot of nice people.
What would everyone think if Chazhound no longer existed? I mean I stay out of everything because I don't want to get involved in a fight, or start a fight, I just want to be a wallflower and watch. I come and get the help I need and if there's something I DEFINETELY know the answer too (which isn't much) I will post my answer.

Me too. I am new its my 2nd month and I have learned alot. If Chazhound was gone I would never have learned what I did. So,as long as we let people now whats people are realy doing to dog then thats good for me!We can have different opions and stuff but their is no need to fight because we all are trying to do one thing: Make they world a little better for dogs!
