OK, so I don't have the energy right now to try and talk about how yesterday went for us humans, or how yesterday went for the children. I have just enough energy to post these 4 pics, and muster the enthusiasm you see in the title. So, without further ado, here is Bella in super high details so you don't miss a single whisker.

That is the most adorable little face! She has an amazingly sad stare that melts the heart! You are a lucky duck.........

Phew! Thank heavens for highspeed, haha.
Well I checked, she has no fleas...if she did I am sure we could see them on those pics! HA Ha

OMG that's a pretty blade of grass that you zoomed in on. Those pics are ridiculously huge! I can't even see the pup lol.

yea I thought I *HAD* warned the dialup users in the title?!

And her back leg seems sore... is that common after shipping air?

Is her leg sore to the touch, or is she favoring it when she moves? She may be stiff or have some bruising from being cramped up in flight, or she may even have injured herself some if she was panicked while caged.

I hope you let Dawna know that the airline mis-handled Bella so badly so she can raise hell from her end.

You'll want to take her in to see your vet in the next day or so and start taking her by every week or two to get her acclimated to everyone there so you won't have problems with vet visits later. While you're there, have the vet look at that leg. You'll find your Fila is far more flexible and than other dogs - very much like a cat, but it will be worth checking that leg just to be sure she didn't get injured by the handling.

Sore to the touch sounds like a soft tissue injury of some sort.

Your vet should be thrilled that you're willing to bring her in to socialize on a regular basis and should be happy to weigh her and play with her a bit without charging you.
