This evening I was out with a client doing the finishing touches of companion dog obedience with her Irish Wolf Hound.
We were in a small park in the centre of our very small town on the main streets. I was teaching her the finer points of being aware of heeling loose leash (the owner) and asked her for some bait as I took her dog to demo. I noticed a cop crusier driving past, but when I saw the lights come on, I thought it was for the vehicle ahead of the cop. I turned away to continue training and walking up the park. The next thing I knew someone was yelling, 'HEY YOU!!!!' I turned around to find two Officers approaching my client but focused on me. I called 'Who me??', Yep, I walked back to them totally clueless as to why they wanted us.
They asked my client, 'Whats in the baggie?', she quickly produced the baggie of homebaked liver!!! And said 'Liver!!',
We then had a good laugh!!! The cops were quick to point out that although we certainly didn't look like the type to be dealing drugs, when they saw the *exchange* they had to stop lol.
Too funny, almost busted for liver!!!
Take care
