Bull in movie 8 seconds

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the name of the Bull in the movie 8 seconds? We are trying to come up w/ names for our male bullmastiff that we are getting soon, and looking for something meaning/name of (bull, bear, moose), something like that.

The name of the bull was # 4, owned by Beutler & Gaylord Rodeo. Lane's friend Tuff won the Bull Riding Championship,and rode an extra 8 seconds "for Lane".

Also, the bull Red Rock appeared during the "Lane Frost Memorial Service"
held at the 1989 National Rodeo Finals.

Nothing to do with that movie but this years Canadian champion bucking bull was Blueberry

USA Champion Bucking Bull was Rocky Roads

World Champion Bucking Bull was Alley Oop out of Alley Cat out of Alley so he came by it honestly both dad and grandpa were champions.

Big time fan of the rodeo scene!

yuckaduck~ This is off topic too, but I wanted to tell you that your animals are so pretty. I really like the name Yukon, it's actually on our list as a possibility to name our bullmastiff puppy. We live in Illinois though, so we wouldn't be running into each other if we did choose that name (well, other than on Chaz!!!). We have always liked that vehicle and then I thought it sounded like a good name. My brother suggested Denali, which we may do too, don't know yet. Anyway, thanks for your post!

Yukon carries his grandfathers call name, so they are often confused. I loved the name and thought it would be a great tribute to the grandfathers handler/partner so I used the name.

Yuckaduck~ I love it!! I think it's an awesome name. I had thought about it alittle bit and had it on my list, and then today when I was talking to my brother about names for him, he mentioned Denali (He has a Denali, but it's the pickup not the Yukon one), anyway I like both names. I am really interested in finding a name that isn't very common. I like the big dog names like Sampson, Zeus, Goliath, Hercules, Bear, Titus, Brutus, Bruno etc..., but there are SO many of them. I really like to be somewhat different. I don't really like people copying off of my names too much especially if they are close by. Since we don't live anywhere near each other, would you be upset if I did use Yukon? I don't know for sure that we will, my husband still doesn't know which name he wants, but just in case.

Of course I would not be upset. It is a great name and I do not own the name either. I would be honoured if you used it, whether you live along ways away or right next door, it makes no difference. I love the name and I would feel pretty special if you used it even if it had nothing to do with me.

Have fun, I think finding a name is the hardest part.

Thanks!! It is SO hard to find the "perfect name." We were going to get a female and had a name for her but then we decided to get the male instead. I have NEVER been good at thinking up boy name. Luckily we ended up having two girls which made things a little bit easier. Hopefully we will have a name soon.
