Hey guys, I'm new here, so I apologize if there are any rules I am currently breaking.

My dog (Miniature American Eskimo) has a small red balloon on his paw. like a bug bite, and she won't stop biting it. Is there a band-aid for dogs that can prevent her from chewing? without making her feel uncomfortable? and she is also a very hairy dog. I tried using bandage, but she just bites it or it falls off.

Thanks in advance.

I'd probably recommend getting it checked out by a vet for starters, especially if it's been there a few days without decreasing in size. Newton had a similar small growth on his foot a few months ago - it turned out to be a harmless cutaneous histiocytoma that eventually went away on its own, but its always a good idea to have a biopsy done just in case.

You could try a sock secured at the top with some vet wrap to get her to stop biting at it, but if she's insistent on pulling it off you might have to resort to an elizabethan collar.

I would rather take him to the vet so that appropriate treatment can be given and to prevent further infection.
