I know you've been trying hard. And it's not like you can try one thing and immediately know if it's going to work. You've got to give any diet/medication a chance which takes time. I can only imagine how frustrating it is for you!

I hope the testing gives you some more definitive information--I had a dog who had allergies--that's hard to deal with!

I had some neighbors who had a very similar problem. Their collie had severe allergies that made him itch and get skin problems constantly. They finally started bathing him once a day with a very mild, soothing, oatmeal-type shampoo. It helped out a LOT. Nearly every day, I saw them outdoors bathing their collie. I admire their dedication---that's a lot of hair!

Maybe something like that would help Buddy?

we did the daily bathings which led to no change. We're going to try soaking his feet everyday, though, since that seems to be the pinpoint of his major discomfort. Thank you.
