I have not been on in a long time so I don't even know if the same people are around. I think Brody will go soon I'm just asking for prayers that he can die here at home and I don't have to make the decision to bring him in and he hates to go to the vet and I know he will be scared. This is hard.

I'm so sorry... of course I remember you and your boys! Sending lots of love & hope that Brody will go peacefully at home. It's so hard when they get old, but you should be happy knowing that you gave Brody the best life a dog could ask for and cherish the time you have with him.

You have our prayers for a peaceful passing and our hugs for your grief and worry. I don't think there is anything harder.

Awww....I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is when they get so old and you have to figure out whether to have them put down by a vet or whether to wait longer. It's just the hardest thing. I hope he can die peacefully at home while still not too uncomfortable or if you see him suffering, maybe the vet can come to your house. People do that too sometimes. In any case, I hope for the rest of his time with you, you two can having loving peaceful times together. I'm so very sorry. (((hugs)))

Of course I remember you---and your beautiful golden boys. Can you find a vet to come to your house? I know others have done that.

Sending you so many ((HUGS)) for you, and prayers for Brody.

Some vets might do a house call if you ask (and are willing to pay extra). Saves the stress of the vet's office. Or the vet could do the euth in your car in the parking lot instead of in the clinic. Just a thought.

Sorry for your loss.

I had to bring Brody in to the vet this morning and had him put to sleep. It was lymphoma and it was really bad so I made the hard decision. They gave him a sedative first. I have never been through this. I have had childhood dogs pass but this was my first dog my heart dog. I don't know how I will get through this. I guess I will go read the rainbow bridge poem I have never read it.

I'm so sorry Goldie..........so very sorry for your loss.

We just made this decision for Phoebe a few weeks ago, and even though our head knew it was the right thing, our hearts still break with the weight of it all :(

Run free Brody, you were treasured, loved, and will ever more be remembered.

As a Chaz member once told me, letting go is the biggest form of love you can give them. Hugs. Know Broday will be in your heart and memories forever. Try to remember all the good times and love you shared.

I'm so very sorry Goldie. Yes, letting go was the biggest act of love. He was having a terrible time and you relieved him of that. I know you're going to miss him but I hope you find peace and acceptance in time. (((hugs)))
