Brewers yeast tablets??

Does anyone give these to their dogs? I have always given them to my dogs and they have all loved them. All I have to do is shake the bottle and they come running...lol.

I'm not really even sure why I started giving them to them. I think it was because someone told me it helped with dry skin or something.

So, I was just wondering if anyone else gave their dogs them and if they really have any health benefits.

I give my chis brewers yeast and garlic tablets. These tablets:

-repel fleas
-strengthen immune system in the intestional tract
-are a good source of vitamin b-complex and amino acids
-give a nice shiny coat and help with dry skin as well.

I'm thinking about adding brewers yeast (human tablets) to my dog's home cooked diet. Is there a specific amount per pound to feed?
