Brady's belly

Brady's belly is starting to look much better. He has had the staples in now for a little over a week and it is healing up. He will be able to get them out sometime next week. They said 10-14 days, so we are going to try to shoot for later in the week to give it as much time as possible to heal.

He is back to his old self, playful, and silly. I am so glad, I was so worried about him for a while.

I know! I have been closing off rooms when I am not home and making sure all closets are shut.

I sat him down yesterday and had a big talk with him about how upset I would be if I lost him because he ate more plastic, and how he should only put things that are edible in his mouth. He acted like he was listening, but you know how kids are...in one ear and out the other....

I got rid of everything int he backyard that I thought of that he could chew on, such as the wood pile, etc. and Matt came home yesterday to find him digging a big hole around a stump where we had cut down a tree! What am I going to do with him? Matt was happy, bc now his digging up of the stump is going to be much easier.

Glad Brady is feeling better. I guess he wants to be daddy's helper now and do some work in the yard.
