Hi everyone, ok well my two boys, Macho and Boozer are getting older and much much bigger. They will be 6 months on the 2nd of November and they are becoming sexually mature as most of you all know. At 4 months Macho weighed 31 lbs and Boozer 30 lbs. They have put on much weight since then. I was wondering how you all that have two males together deal with any aggression. They are starting to play fight quite aggressively. I have never had two males together, it has always been females or a female and a male, but never two males. They are blood brothers from the same litter, so I was wondering if you all think there will ever be "real" fights? They get pretty into it, but Boozer seems to be the one on top with most of them, I guess you can say the most aggressive. Nuetering them will never be an option. We only spay our females but we have never believed in nuetering our males, it's sort of an inside family issue. So yea, you all with two males that have been together since birth, speak up and tell me how it has been, I could use the experience. They love eachother to death, never apart, sleep, eat and poo together... LOL... it's like a morning ritual for them, they walk the whole 3 acres and do their thing, always in tails distance. Thanx, Vanessa.

It really doesnt matter if they are brothers or not. One dog will be alpha and the other might wake up one day and say he wants to be on top. You never know. Neeko (My Dobe) was always very submissive to my GSD, Caza who is defeinately an alpha male. But lately Neeko has been testing him, and they have gotten into a few nasty fights. The last fight was terrible and since then I dont put them out together. Its not Caza who looks for trouble its Neeko who wants more "power". Dogs change throughout their lives, and there is no gurantee that they will or will not fight.

Yea I know... thanks for telling me about your guys. I know that it doesnt matter that they are bros. My mom, sigh... she is saying they wont hurt eachother, they're brothers, I tell her, mom they are not humans, and even then humans can kill eachother as well. As soon as a female gets in there, they will fight to the death for her, if not that one will become the alpha for sure. No way to stop it. She doesnt believe me, but then again she doesnt know dogs like I do. Well if anyone else has two males together... please share, thanx GSDlover 4ever.
