Border Collies!

i have a bordercollie/ACD mix and i love her to death. unfortunately when i went to college my parents and bro took over her care and now she's fat x.x now that i'm renting a place at home and have my other dog i'm helping her loose her weight. with that said i found it easiest to exercise her with my bike. i bought this attachment so i could hook her leash to my bike and she could run along side me. i could go longer and faster on a bike than just jogging *have bad knees from injuries* and she really liked that. i'd do that before i went to school, when i got home from school, after dinner and then right before bed. if i didn't do it that much she'd probably go crazy. also a toy she really liked was one of those with an inner maze that you push around to get treats. and she needed a lot of outside time, living in the country we let her outside in out yard *it was fenced about three acres* and she enjoyed that a lot. she was easy to train but she needs to be trained every day. unless you are willing to commit to their demands i'd think of a more 'mellow' dog than that.
