Well tonight I tried to get Crosby to wear booties, EPIC FAIL I should've video'd it... If looks could kill!!! He sat on his butt and refused to move an inch.....

At vets tomorrow I'm going to see what I can offer for treats and try and get him used to them, living in town road salt is a fact of life, and I noticed last night he was bothered by it, so tonight I stayed in my yard, but it takes him much longer to go there and is not as good for us or as enjoyable as a good walk

Brisbane hates shoes unless he is doing something super-fun. Can you put the boots on and throw some toys? Have treats rain from the sky? Go for a walk?

Conversely, you could put the boots on and just let him live in them until he realizes he can walk. This isn't an option for us because Briz can sulk for more hours than I'm comfortable leaving him shod.

I wish you had taken a video!

Morgan did the high-step, weird walk the first time I put him in booties. However, it didn't take him long to figure out that wearing them meant he could run in the snow without getting ice buildup between his toes. He LOVES the booties now.
