So what is it?

I have a friend that blows both nostrils at once and never fails to make a very loud trumpet noise. Even way back in 4th grade she never failed to interrupt a class when she blew her nose and kids would laugh. :p

I think.. Not sure now, will have to check, that I blow through both nostrils at the same time, the majority of the time.

It's hard on the ears if you blow hard both at same time ......especially with a lot of congestion .

When I blow... I do both at the same time, then each seperately. Then I fold the tissue over and wipe around the edges. :yikes:

One nose at a time for me. :p

Only reason I ask is because I've been really sick, nose is completely red and sore from blowing it, and I was trying to find a method that gets the most out the fastest and with less blows to make my nose hurt less. :p

:) I would also like to add that I DO NOT make a trumpet sound. I'm a very polite nose blower....I rarely do it in public unless it's an emergency.

I know this because I had to blow mine today, I give each nostril a turn to do their very best. Why make them compete against each other and lose force? It'll make your ears pop anyway, and I hate it when my ears pop!

it depends on the level of buggers i feel i have in there.
if i feel like i have a ton i will do one nostril at a time and give it a long steady medium blow.
if its just a little stuffy, i will give both of them at the same time a light blow.

Well technically, we all know that even if we attempt to blow both nostrils concurrently, one nostril always cooperates first.
