Tucker is so hard to groom. So so much that he wiggles but that he always wants to chew on something  . Even with a treat in my hand Tucker will completely ignore it and go for the brush. He also attacks the wash cloth while wiping off his tear stains. Im not sure what to do as treats and toys don't phase him. He usually just stop him and tell him no loudly. I don't know if you have any advice for getting him to stop chewing that would be great.

Teach you dog to "drop it" this command is a godsend. Teach in a positive manner by holding a treat in your hand and closing hand when he goes to grab it. Tell him, drop it, I like the command "off". Then when he gives up, open palm and tell him "take it". This way he learns when to stay off something and when it's OK to take an item.

Keep in mind that your dog is treating this as a game, or he may be learning that by biting the brush you stop. Try some desensitizing tactics.

When holding the treat in my hand and not giving it I use "leave it" But i do it by pulling the hand away. Slowly I do not have to pull the hand away anymore. I can now leave treats on my dogs paws or right under her nose and say "leave it" and she wont take them until I say "get it"

To teach "drop it" I use a toy and give it to the dog. I then say drop it and show the treat. When the dog gives me the toy or puts it on the ground I reinforce the command "drop it" and give treat and praise.

I just close my palm over the treat and cover it. Some dogs by drawing the treat away can create a snappy grabby dog. I've seen this happen;)

I guess that is true. I just did it that way so they learn that they are to leave the treat without me having to close it in my hand so they cant take it.

I guess either way depending on how the dogs is.
