the elepahnts eat over ripe fruit on purpose
and sit around and complain about their lives at the elephant bar of life
and for those that have windows that do get hit by non drunk birds..a cut out in white of a predator bird adherred to the window..(will make a big difference) in fact anything to break the reflection of the sky will work. it is such a shame i find so many and most often it is a song bird that is rarely seen..the last two i found (i always check cause sometimes they are just stunned and knocked out...if provided a safe place they wake up and can resume their lives ..if not provided they usually end up in somethings belly, an easy snack)..the last two were an indigo bunting ..in the city no less when i was taking mom to the doc..and on moms from porch i found a cedar waxwing not even common to the area.
fun project for those with nothing to do
cut out a solid green elephant at least 6 inches..adher to a white surface..stare at it for a minute or so without blinking..then look at the white wall where the elephant isn't..guess what you will see!
