Yes, always get caught in the moment and tresure your pets while they are alive. I have learned this because i used to keep rats. and if they die of old age they will live to be about 3. and with there medical problems with or without vet care not many make it to 2 and a half.

So sorry to hear about Marvin. Was he a rex? Sure does look soft
