Big Problem mabee you guys could help

there are these new guys in the neighborhood with a rotti there older in there 20tys the dog looks 7 months or older its huge already anyways its not trained or trained to not be so nice
weve seen it a couple times but manage to stay away i always have austin with me
i didnt know before if it was nice or not
well just before we were heading down the block to the big pet store and were 2 blocks or so away and a lady passes the dog and he luges at her he back away he was tied up the guys didnt even scold him so i went in the street and he still barked and looked at austin like he was dinner
and the guy was like "bark bark growl" like it was funny so i said loud it wont be so funny when i call the aspca
went into the petstore and crossed away from him to go home
im scared he hangs out in a group of guys in front of i guess his from haircut place with the dog ties up
what do i do i mean hes like 100 pounds austin is 10 im weight 98 i weight less then the dog !

oh and ive already been told to talk to the guy on another forum that wont happen without my throat being ripped out

your options are minimal if the guy's not abusing the dog. Your only legal option is to file a complaint with the city. They can't do anything unless the dog attacks someone or something, but then they'll destroy him. Dogs are a lose/lose situation in the hands of stupid people.

thanks for being nasty aboout it im glad us getting mauled is a joke to u
they walk all over the neightbor hood and if you read it they sit next to the PETSTORE that i take my dogs to every day

You might tell the pet store owner that you're afraid to come there because of these boys and their dog. That might carry a little weight as far as keeping them from scaring people away from the store. I'm sure you're not the only one who's been frightened.

It would help if your parents would complain.

If this comes into the realm of harassment... yes you have an issue to address.... other than that, just continue your life....I'd have an harness on your pup so you could lift him into your arms if need be. I doubt if the dog would attack you. He's owned by punks .... Lord help him !!!

I used to live next to these guys who had fighting pitts. They were so mean to the dogs and they were very agressive. There was a point where I couldn't even go outside because they happened to "get loose" (yeah right) and they would go after me or my pitt (sweetest dog in the world, Jessica). One time they did get Jessica and tore her up, it was so sad.

All you can do is keep your dog in your eye sight at all times and avoid the dog. If you catch them abusing the dog then you can call animal control.

It's idiots like them that give this wonderful breed a bad rap. I would call and report them to the police before something serious happens. I would hope and pray the dog will be taken away from them. Good Luck

Since this dog is tied in front of a store, does it have access to water? If not, I would call the ASPCA. I would also talk to the owner of the pet store and tell him you are afraid. Maybe he can have them removed for loitering.

hes not right in front of the petstore hes right next door at the haircutters the dog doesnt have water cause the guy is always standing there but doesnt control the dog
i really hate that people like them have to ruin good breeds this is why they are banning dogs all over the place
ive been told by a whole bunch of people that since there really nothing wrong hes doing yet there nothing we can do i hate that
oh and the dog is tie up but he uses a regular material leash so it can easy be broken by a large dog like that
