Hey everyone! I have been crazy busy in these last few months, but a lot has happened... and although most of you are friends with me on Facebook and know all the exciting details, I want to post updates here also when I can.
In December, we decided to try breeding Fiona one last time. For those of you who don't know, we had tried breeding her twice prior to this, with no success, and it took its toll on our wallets and our emotions. It is extremely disappointing to go through all of the planning and prepping stages for a litter, only to have it fall through... it was tough on us. However, we came up with a plan to breed Fiona to Jesse, one of my bred-by puppies from my 2010 litter out of my Sadie. We didn't progesterone test her, didn't really spend any money other than to fly out to California to where Jesse lives, and we had a lot of success with natural and AI breedings. In early January we found out that Fiona IS pregnant, and we could not be more ecstatic!
So, I would like to announce for you all the impending arrival of four (maybe five) babies out of Group Placing Ch Brigadoon's Braveheart HSAd HTAD1s HTAD1d to Gladwyn's Prima Ballerina. They are due on the 6th of February.
