If you guys had to pick out of the better dog foods, which one brand would you choose for the price (for a puppy)? And is petfooddirect.com a reliable online store?

I don't know that site, they seem to have an ok selection but they don't sell Innova

The best foods are Innova EVO, Innova, Wellness, Eagle Pack and Canidae, in my opinion. Although there are other good foods out there.

I saw that they didn't have Innova... in fact I can't find Innova in many online food stores which is sad because I think it's the one I want to switch Verbena to most. Luckily I think there's a store in my hometown (200 miles away) that sells it... just a matter of going there to buy it.

Well you don't have to buy innova, the others are really good too. There's lots of choice out there, I'm sure you will find something convenient. 200 miles to buy dog food would suck, lol.

Wow, I just may get a bag of Canidae through these guys. The 40 lb bag is only $35 and the 35lb bag of Royal Canin is $31...five more pounds of a better quality food for only $4? I'll take it.

Yes that's the thing... Nutro, Royal Canin etc are all really overpriced, and you end up paying less for better quality food, as you feed less of it.

I think it would be worth it Zoom Watch the shipping price though.

the reason why you can rarely find natura products for sale on the internet is that they have a very strict distributor network and distributors are not allowed to compete with each other outside of their sales area.

if you do a thorough search on google or yahoo, you might find someone in your state selling it online. do a search for example for "innova 16.5 lb." that way you will find many sites that are actually selling it.
