I'm upset at my best friend because everytime A guy even talks to her she thinks he likes her.Then she ask him out and he will say no, and she gets all upset and then I have to comfort her. The other problem is that when she thinks a guy likes her. she conplains all the time about her hair did not trun out she ugly. Then she does not talk to anyone but that guy and will completly not talk to me or any other of her friends. Then she cames to me when he tells her he don't like her. Then she gets all depressed.

It just make me so mad.

No she my friend. its just she Desperate to get a guy, and when the guy don't like her she mad. It justs make me mad that she does that to her self.

i had one of those...she was my best buddy when she needed to complain or needed advice, and otherwise i was just kinda the tag along..but as soon as i started making friends of my own she got jealous and started all sorts of rumors about me...needless to say we havent talked in 2 years because shes yet to grow up...

It does really sound that she only comes to you when she needs help. Her completely disregarding you is a pretty big sign of lack of true caring or friendship. You would think she would come to you and give you some sort of explanation instead of blowing you off. I mean she's not doing anything horrible, but these are beginning signs of friendsips starting to go downhill. Just seems like a lack of communication as well.

Have you ever confronted her about this? How did that go? What did she say? What did you say?

I think you should talk with her. Invite her over sometime. Make it a time where you guys can talk alone and for as long as you need. And try to make it so that she isn't already upset or angry about something. Just ask her, "why do you need all this attention from guys?" "What is so important about having a guy like you?"

It sounds like this girl really has her head and heart in the wrong place. She needs this constant attention from guys to make herself feel better about herself. And when she doesn't get this attention, she feels ugly and unloved. And she knows you are a good friend that is willing to listen. You are right, this doesn't mean she has bad intentions. She is still your friend, she's just has not yet realizd that she isn't being a very good friend towards you.
