Benadryl question

Is this http://www.pfizerch.com/product.aspx?id=247 the right Benadryl to give to dogs? I have always given these capsules to my dogs but someone at the store today said no it should be the tablets.:yikes: Does it matter?

I've used both before. As far as I know, as long as you are using plain Benadryl you are fine...don't use the stuff with the added decongestant, and be careful of the liquids. But, that stuff looks ok.

I give whichever i have on hand it never made a diffrence for mine and theyhave been using bendryl for there horiible allergies on and off for almost 3 years

Okay good I did not want to be giving them the wrong stuff.

When i got a previous dog many years ago from the pound he had a cough & the vet gave me a bottle of human Benadryl.

that's fine. the only problem with giving capsules is you can't split them if you have a small dog.
