Belle reacts to baby crying

LOL I didn't know she had it in her.

We made a DVD of a bunch of Hannah's home movies and we were sitting around watching it while Hannah was napping in her room.

These videos were from when she was a newborn to 3 months.

anyway one of the videos was of her first bath and she did NOT like it the first time around so she was crying. WELL.... Belle FREAKED lol. She was fast asleep on the couch and when the crying started she jumped off the couch and ran to the nursery door and was whining and then when we didn't follow she came running back to us and was doing this little dance and crying and then ran back to the nursery door.

We told Belle everything was fine and the baby was not crying and that she was OK. We ended up having to fast forward through the crying part because it really seemed to upset Belle that we weren't coming to Hannah's aide lol.

Honestly... I don't think I've ever seen Belle move so fast in my life lol. I was really shocked that she reacted that way to the crying. I guess it was because it was that newborn cry because she doesn't really react at all now when Hannah cries.

OOOH yes. That is an understatement lol. but I really didn't expect THAT kind of reaction from her lol.

Belle is our nanny dog hahaha. SHE LOOOOOOOOOVES her some Hannah smooches.

I have so many pictures of those two together.

Beezer loves Hannah but he's more the protector at a distance type. He does what I like to call "drive by kisses" he just sneaks one in as he's walking by lol.

But Belle... she's going to be Hannah's playmate I can already see it. they are going to get into so much trouble together lol.

there was even one time when I was still nursing Hannah and she was hungry... I was getting myself "situated" and Belle came over and stuck her nose in hannah's face and hannah actually tried to suck on Belle's nose LOL.

ACK... I gotta post some pictures of the two of them together lol

awwww that's so cute! I had a dog that was very protective of me when I was a baby. It was my mom's golden retriever. She died before I can remember... by apparently she would ONLY let my mom come near me if I was in my crib. She would follow me around the house, and sleep on the rug by my crib... If anyone other than my mom tried to take me out... she's let then know that wasn't allowed on her watch! lol.

I love dogs! they're great!

I soo wish Molly reacted that way to babies! Instead whenever a young kid's around, she's in the kennel, pad locked..

that one picture where they are sitting side by side... They have the EXACT same look on their face. It's like they are both saying "Ummm SHE did it" LOL

Just about everyone who has seen that picture says the exact same thing lol.
