I've been asked by a friend of mine to lend a hand at a charity concert at the end of October by way of singing. This is being held by a local Chinese charity we are both associated with; VFTAS (Vancouver Film-Television Artists Society) and to raise funds for BC Children's Hospital - so it's indeed a very excellent cause. I'll post more details as things are finalized. If I end up taking the stage - do stop by if you're in Vancouver/Richmond and see me make a fool of myself and visit me and Katalin backstage after the show's done! I'm a decent singer and an OK actor - I've both sung and acted before but it's been a while (near two years) since I've last been on stage. I am jittery already as it is - and I haven't even agreed yet! I've until Friday to say yes or no. My vocals are in good shape, I'll need to practice alot beforehand but that's perfectly doable. I need advice on being on stage and public speaking (well, same principals I guess but different settings). Any pointers on getting nerves under control and keeping it together under the spotlight?
