FWIW, I too , am a convert. Although I have never been for a breed ban, at one time I would never have considered any of the bully breeds and would steer a wide berth round them if I saw one coming. My ignorant attitude was not helped by one person in particular who used to tell me horrible stories about what his dog got up to some years before. One story I remember was that Spike attacked a horse on a beach. It caught on to the horses muzzle and hung on despite the owner frantcially beating it with a crop. Needless to say, this guy was not on my Christmas card list and ever after I had a great wariness of this dog type though even then I knew that it is the owner and not the dog that should be banned.
Now many years later and thanks mostly to people like yourself, Elegy, I have a far better understanding. Your photos are beautiful and the stories I have come across of Pitties both in this forum and elsewhere make my blood boil for the injustice done to these poor dogs (and their responsible owners).
So, just keep on, keeping on. You are getting your message out.
