Nice day today rather warm absolutly no snow around nice and warm comfortable but lots of mud. The trails are waaaaaaaay to muddy to even think of getting the dogs or the wheeled rig out there and too dangerouse for the atv. So we had yard work outs not very long at all. Of course theres the occasional muddy spot in the pasture and so of course a couple of the angels had to roll, wrestle, or simply sleep on them lol. Atleast I got to do some extra grooming. i groom each Sibe and Chin everyday but just a quick once over and check of the paws which is really the most important. But today i went full out not just using the hound glove lol I even combed and clipped ear and face hairs. i had the most groomed muddy sled dogs in town today ;) . Gave the pitties the over over as well (their evening adding to shedding city). Still not wamr enough for an out door bath or playtime with the hose or sprinkler but we're getting there lol.

Victor likes just to stand there and cool his feet..it ws 72 today and purfect! now it is couldy and going to rain. i just finished batting down the hatches!

We've actually had a couple of days of sun after a horrendous, cold, dismal storm Sunday night. I've got jeans out on the clothesline today . . . six days of work a week for Charley and only four pairs of jeans, and he likes wearing those jeans. At least they don't need to be ironed like the khakis would after being hung out on the line!

The daffodils are out and the peony shoots are getting braver . . .

Kharma's coming into season . . . AAARRRGHHHH!

I don't look for the dryer getting fixed anytime soon. The air filter I was instructed to get for my car - and got - last July just got installed Sunday. I'd have done it myself, but I didn't know where it went in this car and I didn't want to cause myself any problems.

The power to the stove has been non-existant since May before last.

We've got brilliant sunshine..WOW!!!!!!!!! and it isn't even very muddy outside. Now we have a gentle, but constant breeze..sure wish I'd have known, my sheets would have been washed and hanging on the line today..LOVE that! Addie didn't want to come back in..seems she thought the sun was pretty awesome, too. I bribed her with a cookie cause I like their company...even if they both are so sound asleep that all I hear is the infamous Hammie snores. After dinner I'm heading out to rake more and walk the dogs. Just think...next week we'll have that extra hour of daylight...I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!! :D The temp is almost 70...I feel 'exposed' in just a tee shirt, but sure is nice to be rid of those layers of heavy sweats.

Renee...I'd NEVER want that stove fixed....course, you like to cook so there's more to miss at your house!

I wish I knew it was gonna be this fabulous...boy, do I have a craving for something grilled!! Sadly, the rain is to return tomorrow and temps will fall to a dreary 50 once again. The rain is supposed to last thru the weekend....oh well, soon this weather will be here to stay.

I am becoming the world's first four star expert on cooking with an electric skillet, rice steamer, microwave and an old toaster oven. Night before last we had ham steaks with a sauce made of fresh lemon juice and grated peel, brown sugar, dried apricot strips and dried cranberries and a splash of bourbon - kind of my version of ham with raisin sauce - sweet potatoes with butter, mace, sea salt, a touch of honey and a dollop of heavy cream, baby peas and biscuits.

Renee, no oven but sounds gourmet to me. I'm not too good at experimenting with food; I wish I had your talent.
