Lets see, Spice Girls, NSync, Backstreet Boys, umm, you know, I really dont know. I grew up listening to what my parents did, and never really got into the pop music, except for Spice Girls. Loved them.
So I grew up listening to The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Moody Blues, Bob Segar, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, etc.

hmmm....when I was in grade school new kids on the block were popular :D Then I went through a hip-hop phase and I loved TLC, ooooh on the TLC tip was my favorite album lol... once i got to puberty age (12/13), I became a rock fan and have been since... the three big ones for me were Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins. I still love all of their old stuff, I had a huge collection of early 90s alternative music and I still really like most of it :)

Ooo Nirvana.. Kurt Cobain.. too cute :p
I know IrishWolfie!! ;)
To this day I'm still very close to my best friend from school, we were both 13 when Kurt died and both felt absolutely crushed by it :( So many great rock musicians died young during that era...Bradley Nowell from Sublime, Shannon Hoon from Blind Melon, Layne Stayley from Alice in Chains...
I miss the way that type of music seemed to be in a creative blossoming back then, even really strange styles that didn't always fit into the rock category got recognition... (Tori Amos, Ween, Beck, Portishead, stuff like that)... now it seems like all these bands are trying to be Nickelback ripoffs, lol... and Nickelback is already kind of a rip-off of Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, etc. ;)
