So I got a new (old) car and want to get a hammock-style cover for the back seat, since there's no room for a crate.

I'll probably just end up buying whatever Canadian Tire has, but do you guys have any recommendations for seat covers? Or at least let me know which ones to avoid, if you've gotten a crappy one?

I used the Zone Tech hammock for a while and it was fine. Durable. Easy enough to unvelcro on one side so a passenger could sit. No bells/whistles/drink holders/treat pouches like some have but... I mean it's a pretty simple concept so I think they'd have to work hard to screw it up.

Edit: I just read the current product description and it looks like they were working pretty hard to screw that up. :p

Thanks guys!

I've looked at the bucket ones and I think Venice's hair is to short and fine to carry much gunk or sand along with her so I don't need that much protection.

I'm realizing my problem is the back headrests - they aren't on adjustable posts, they're built into the seat... but I assume I could figure out a way to just tuck the material or straps behind the seats (in the trunk area) to hold it in place.

I'm looking at Kurgo ones myself. They are on sale this weekend - 20% off through the 15th. :)

I have a Kurgo one and I really like it. It has seatbelt holes with flaps that Velcro shut, it's waterproof, and made of a very durable canvas type material.

I got it on sale off of amazon.
