Hey everyone!
Well, this weekend is a three day weekend (woo hoo!) and Ben and I decided to go backpacking with some friends up in Alabama. I was a little nervous, because Ben wanted to take Jester, but it turned out to be such an awesome time. Jester had an absolute blast! He ran everywhere, got to play with lots of other dogs, and was so good about coming when called -- even if he really wanted to do something (say, jump in the river for the millionth time). I was so proud of him! Anywho, the place we went to was amazing. It was so gorgeous -- 30,000 acres with some great rock formations, beautiful trees and rivers....I did not expect to find all this in Alabama! I highly recommend it to anyone who lives in the NE Mississippi-SW Alabama area. Here are some pics of the trip:
Just a view of one of the many rivers the trail overlooks
I didn't mean to take a pic of him here but I guess he knew he was in the shot....what a camra ham. My wilderness pup!
Last, a pic of Ben and Jester checking out the view...
I'll post a couple more pics once I can get them off Ben's camera...We have some awesome pics of Jester passed out by the fire. Anyway, thanks for indulging me!
