The past couple of days I've had some pain in my lower back. I first noticed it when I was out riding but I still had 2 horses to ride so I we t ahead and it didn't seem to get any worse. Had a bath and a mild painkiller and it seemed fine. Got to this morning and i felt grand but noticed it again when I started riding. Again I ignored it and by the time I was on my last horse it was obviously worse. We were only going for a quick spin up the beach so i kept going. I ended up losing control of my horse twice and going flying off. Went to go home and I wasn't sure of I'd actually be able to get off and untack him so I called for help. That was all fine, I took a stronger painkiller when I got home and didn't do much. Tonight I took another strong painkiller and waited half an hour for it to kick in before I went to sort out horses and even with the pain killer it was as bad as earlier. On Scale of 1-10 this was about a 7. Any idea of what this could be? It's mostly on my left side and seems to be mostly when I move or end for something. There's always a dull pain though that's easily ignored. It's the sharp pain that worries me! What can I do about it? Obviously painkillers arent working.
