She was born Wednesday Sept 14 (her daddy's b-day) at 5:42 via c-section. She weighed 6lbs 7oz and 20.5 inches long. 9 and 9 apgars. She did have to receive a little bit of oxygen after birth so I was disappointed I didn't get to nurse in recovery, but she has been doing well ever since.
She is nursing well and she has beautiful head of hair that every person who sees her has to comment on. Her hair is curly and we are not sure where she got it from, and I'm sure it won't stay that way, but it is gorgeous, everyone says it looks like she has already been to the salon!
I am still in hospital trying to use my husband's work laptop, so I will have to add pictures when I get home. We will be going home tomorrow.
I am recovering ok, since being anemic it has been a bit difficult. It took me longer to be able to get up since I would get dizzy but doing much better now. I was close to needing a transfusion, but actually didn't lose much blood during the section, so she didn't give me one because I only dropped 2 points, though that put me at a 7 because my beginning level was 9. She said 7 is normally when they give a transfusion, and if I passed out I would have to have one, but luckily I have been getting better and am now able to walk around the nurse's station without getting dizzy.
