I swear everytime my husband comes home from taking Chloe somewhere he has more stories about women stopping and cooing over her and flirting w/ him. Dont they assume he is married or at least in a relationship? I mean, how quick can we split up? She isnt even a month old! lol. I would say they should notice the ring but he has to wear it on his middle finger cause its way too big now plus its tungsten carbide so it isnt all that "wedding ring- looking". Of course, this could just be his distorted perception of reality! lol.

And all I get when I take her out are old ladies telling me to do things that are totally against my pediatricians orders. or giving me looks of pity. (they assume I am a single teen mom. everyone says I look 16 and for some reason if you ever leave the house without your husband it means you are single).

Not fair!

Well, he's young. Women of your age are less mature (no offense) and more likely to do that kind of thing.

Women of ANY age are likely to flirt with a married/father. I work in a bar and see it ALL the time... ANY day of the week.

I'll flirt with blokes, but doesn't actually mean I'm interested or they are interested in me - it's just banter. Doesn't mean I want to steal them away from their poor wives and children..... FAR from it.

Gotta say that I coo over babies whether they are with their mom OR dad OR both out in public :D

I don't think anything of talking to a dad who is out and about with their baby or toddler..........doesn't mean I want him or expect a date though! hahaha

And FYI, Kevin used to get the same thing when he was out with our youngest alone. I didn't really care........I was just happy for the time without the baby! hahaha There is something inherently sweet about seeing a man taking care of a baby/toddler all by himself and it IS irresistible to a lot woman.

Even though Puck might have said it a little "snippy" it really does come down to either you trust him or you don't.

Puck, she is more then entitiled to rant. Women, IMO should be respectful for a mans relationship status. She is not being childish.

Oh! I didn't mean she couldn't rant by the way.

We are ALL entitled to feel what we feel and need to rant now and then! :D

Puck gets the pissy pass today. ;)

His turkey hunt yesterday was frustrating, and Hannah took her first steps while he was gone.

If that combo doesn't make you cranky, what would?

My question would be how much of a charge does SamsPet's hubby get telling her about these women?

And, for the record, a man with a small baby sends me scurrying the other direction unless he looks like he needs help, lol! Then I see what I can do and get outta there ASAP!

Suuuuure... :p:rofl1:

In all seriousness, I think it's no big deal if he gets flirted with while he has Chloe with him. I kind of wonder if it IS really flirting, though, as that seems kinda inappropriate to me.. flirting with someone who obviously has a child, especially since they're probably in a relationship. Bu what do I know. *shrug* In any case, it's not like he'll do anything, so I wouldn't worry.

WHOA. Okay, that post was totally out of line, Nefarious. UNBELIEVABLY inappropriate.
Agreed!

Samantha, I agree with Acooper. And I think you have a right to rant about whatever you want though.
I would just be happy to get away from the baby and husband for some alone time. LOL :p

Women who love babies love to see a man who loves babies. Heck... I'm happily married with a little one of my own but when I see a daddy being sweet to his little baby I can't help but "AWWWWWWWWWWWW that's so CUTE" can't help it lol and I always smile at them or say hello. Knowing most men... that counts as flirting lol

On that note I always tell Brian that if (God forbid) anything were to happen to me... he wouldn't need to try very h ard to get a date lol... just take Hannah out and he'll have women falling all over him... or her lol.
