I was doing laundry this morning and decided that Zeus' blankie was rather whiffy. He's sleeping on it. I have Zeus move, then pick up the blankie and fling it in the wash. Zeus watches me do this and whimpers a bit.

My husband is in the other room and hears Zeus. He says "What's wrong with the dog?" I said, "He's upset because I took his blankie to wash it and he wants to use it. He doesn't know what to do." Hubby laughs.

Zeus gives me the sad eyes and a big *sigh*, then lays down on the couch.

Hubby enters the living room and decides to watch a movie. I'm preoccupied with a book and am not really paying attention. Then I hear my husband say..."Um, where's my throw blanket?"

I said, "I washed it. It's in the dryer, but it's not done yet."

Silence......

"But how am I suppossed to curl up on the couch and watch a movie without my blanket?"

one good thing about being a blankie baby, they are suppose to grow up and have a greater chance at long term relationships. I read a study somewhere. Good thing to have in a husband.:) Bet you used fabric softener too.;)

LOL! That was so perfect. I have a hubby and a dog that are exactly the same way. they are big babies, but I love them. Kitty is a bit more independent. If she wants a blankie she just makes herself comfortable on either the dog's or ours.
